Field Inspector
About The Position
Quiktrak is seeking 1099 Audit and Inventory Inspectors to perform field audit inspections in their local area. This independent-contractor position involves traveling to assigned locations to perform floorplan audits, take photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using an Android or iOS device. Most inspections involve automobiles and equipment; some assignments may include property inspections, inventory verification, or property condition assessments. The work is field-based and requires travel between locations. Contractors can choose their own hours, with daytime availability Monday through Friday required. Compensation is paid per inspection, with fees varying by complexity and location. Average earnings are $1,500 per month or more, depending on location, availability, and the number of accepted assignments.
Requirements
- 1099 independent contractor status.
- Open availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
- Comfort working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections.
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with common operating systems, including iOS, Google Chrome, and Microsoft.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously.
- Applicants must be located in the United States.
