About The Position

The Field Inspector plays a key role in maintaining the quality and integrity of our projects. This position is responsible for conducting on-site inspections of asphalt and concrete surfaces, documenting conditions, and ensuring work meets company standards and safety requirements. The Field Inspector works closely with operations and sales to support successful job execution.

Requirements

  • Willingness to travel up to 30% of the week while effectively managing your workload.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to accurately document site conditions.
  • Ability to work independently while staying aligned with team goals.
  • Clear and effective communication skills when working with internal teams and contractors.
  • Commitment to safety standards and quality assurance practices.
  • Maintain consistent attendance and punctuality, ensuring responsibilities are covered when absent, and embrace the opportunity to work long hours when necessary to achieve our goals together.
  • 2+ years in commercial property inspections or construction.
  • Knowledge of asphalt and concrete repair methods, including sealing and striping.
  • Familiarity with drainage systems and general site conditions.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and field reporting software.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple site visits and reports.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in quality assurance or field inspection roles is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conducting on-site evaluations of parking lots, roadways, and paved surfaces to assess overall condition.
  • Compiling clear, detailed reports outlining findings, damages, and recommended repairs.
  • Ensuring all work complies with company standards, local codes, and safety regulations.
  • Conducting field measurements to accurately assess the scope of work for repairs.
  • Facilitating communication between the sales and operations departments for smooth collaboration.
  • Inspecting pavement, curbing, drainage and lighting for safety wear.
  • Taking photographs and collecting data to compile detailed maintenance reports.
  • Ensuring we meet local and federal regulations.
