Field Inspector
About The Position
Quiktrak is seeking 1099 Audit and Inventory Inspectors to perform field audit inspections in their local area. This contract, part-time role requires travel between assigned locations. Inspectors conduct floorplan audits, take photos, collect data, and upload inspection information using an Android or iOS device. Most inspections involve automobiles and equipment; some assignments may include property inspections, inventory verification, or property condition assessments. The work is field-based and outdoors, with flexible scheduling and daytime availability Monday through Friday. Inspectors are paid per inspection, with fees varying by complexity and location. Average earnings are stated as $1,500 per month or more, depending on location, availability, and the number of accepted assignments.
Requirements
- Must work as a 1099 independent contractor.
- Open availability during daytime hours, Monday through Friday.
- Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license.
- Access to a recent smartphone or tablet for on-site inspections.
- Access to a computer with Wi-Fi to accept and schedule jobs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with common operating systems and tools, including iOS, Google Chrome, and Microsoft.
- Ability to stand and walk for up to 7.5 hours continuously.
