About The Position
The Field Inspector is an entry level position in Construction responsible for the planning, organization and directing the activities of Contractors performing Outside-plant construction and in support of Projects/ Programs sponsored by Electric Operations, Gas Operations and Steam Operations. The oversight is associated with sub-surface structure maintenance, investigation and mitigation of Municipal complaints as well as customer complaints. Oversight also involves restoration, facility protection, sub-surface line locating, site protection of Company facilities, damage prevention and Electric Operations - Vendor Programs. Ensure all work is done in strict compliance with all the applicable company specifications, standards and procedures as well as State and Municipal regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
- Planning, organization and directing the activities of Contractors performing Outside-plant construction.
- Supporting Projects/ Programs sponsored by Electric Operations, Gas Operations and Steam Operations.
- Overseeing sub-surface structure maintenance.
- Investigating and mitigating Municipal complaints.
- Investigating and mitigating customer complaints.
- Overseeing restoration, facility protection, sub-surface line locating, and site protection of Company facilities.
- Overseeing damage prevention and Electric Operations - Vendor Programs.
- Ensuring all work is done in strict compliance with all applicable company specifications, standards and procedures as well as State and Municipal regulatory requirements.
