About The Position

GSM Industrial is seeking Field Industrial Technicians to support our Field Operations. Our typical Field Industrial Technicians earn between $20 and $38 per hour, but may also be eligible for overtime and shift differential with an opportunity to earn up to $100,000 per year. Field Industrial Technicians travel to jobsites to perform various installation tasks related to industrial mechanical contracting projects. This may include tasks related to welding, rigging, millwright, painting, etc., and frequently requires working from ladders, high reaches and working under other challenging conditions. These tasks and duties include, but are not limited to operating: material handling equipment, motorized vehicles, welding equipment, fabrication machinery, power tools, working at height over four feet and working in confined spaces (or as prescribed by OSHA). Our core competency is based on safely processing steel: structures, weldments, piping systems, pressure vessels and sheet metal components of varying shapes and sizes. Requirements

Out of Town work will be a considerable portion of this job and is required.
We do provide paid travel time(per diem) and lodging for out of town work.

Responsibilities

Perform various installation tasks related to industrial mechanical contracting projects.
Perform tasks related to welding, rigging, millwright, painting, etc.
Operate material handling equipment, motorized vehicles, welding equipment, fabrication machinery, and power tools.
Work at height over four feet.
Work in confined spaces (or as prescribed by OSHA).
