About The Position

Reporting to the VP, Human Resources and supporting Driven Brands continuous growth in the field, this role is responsible for aligning business objectives with employees and management in designated business units. The position serves as a consultant to management on human resource-related issues. The successful HR Business Partner acts as an employee champion and change agent. The role assesses and anticipates HR-related needs, communicating needs proactively with our HR Center of Excellence and business management. The Field HR Business Partner will lead the development of integrated solutions. The position formulates partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees that reflects the business objectives of the organization. The HRBP maintains an effective level of business literacy about the business unit's financial position, its midrange plans, its culture and its competition.

  • Bachelor’s degree (Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or Human Resources preferred)
  • 3+ years of Human Resources Business Partner experience in multi-unit retail environment and or Shared Services Center of Excellence required
  • Experience influencing senior leaders around HR matters
  • HRIS system experience and knowledge required, Workday and Service Now required
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Able to exercise effective judgment, sensitivity, & creativity to changing needs and situations
  • Team player with ability to work in a demanding and dynamic fast-paced environment with the flexibility to adjust to changing priorities and deadlines
  • Proven strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Able to establish and maintain healthy working relationships in the course of business
  • Strong communication skills and ability to interact successfully in a team environment
  • High energy, collaborative, and driven

Responsibilities

  • Partner with employees and management to design, communicate and oversee and ensure compliance with the company and human resources federal, state, policies & procedures
  • Support all aspects of employee experience, including influencing the appropriate application of expectations and policies, documentation, and merit increase process
  • Act as the initial point of contact for all employee relations issues or concerns, referencing appropriate employment law knowledge as needed
  • Provide monthly metrics pertaining to headcount, turnover, performance management: participate in the completion of monthly HR reporting/audits
  • Assist with the recruitment, interview and onboarding process
  • Participate in and lead efforts designed to improve employee morale and company culture
  • Maintain and coordinate employee development, including performance reviews, learning and training sessions, leadership programs and succession planning
  • Conduct exit interviews, analyze data and make recommendations to the management team for corrective action, employee retention, and continuous improvement
  • Learn, develop and support benefits administration and payroll processing for 11,000+ employees
  • Work closely and develop a strong partnership with the Center of Excellence (COE)
