A FIELD HEAVY EQUIPMENT MECHANIC. A field mechanic for Ames is responsible for keeping the equipment in good operating condition at all times to accomplish 100% availability and safe operation. The Field Mechanic will work in the Arizona region and travel to multiple projects and surrounding states within the Southwest region. The perfect candidate will have a minimum of 5 years’ experience on heavy equipment such as, but not limited to, dozers, track hoes and loaders, haul trucks, and excavators. This is a full-time position, and the Mechanic will be required to join the Operator’s Local 12 as a Group 4 mechanic. Light truck auto mechanic experience a plus.
