About The Position

As a Tech Foreperson (Heavy Equipment), you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations, managing personnel, ensuring equipment maintenance, and optimizing operational efficiency. This role requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to anticipate and resolve operational challenges.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver's license.
• Minimum one year of experience as a shop foreperson or similar role.
• Proficiency in MS Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Knowledge of work optimization techniques and safety regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Strong time management and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to work extended hours and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train staff in equipment operations and safety protocols.
• Create and manage maintenance and work schedules.
• Anticipate, detect, and address factors hindering operational efficiency.
• Enforce safety regulations and conduct performance reviews.
• Collaborate with management to optimize workflow strategies.
• Ensure proper operation and maintenance of equipment.
• Monitor inventory levels and manage supply replenishment.
• Perform administrative tasks such as updating schedules and equipment records.
