The Field Food Service Specialist will supervise training and educate store teams on current and new product offerings, with an emphasis on Food Safety and Quality Assurance to ensure FSQA and HACCP regulatory requirements are met. This role supervises new store start-ups and remodels for Foodservice, addresses issues in stores in real-time, and provides immediate solutions during visits. The specialist is responsible for visiting assigned stores on a set schedule to perform food safety-quality assurance monitoring functions, conduct trouble-shooting seminars, and act as a central contact for food service category questions. Collaboration with Category Managers, BU leadership, store leadership, Food Service vendors, and merchant experts is key to ensuring training materials are effective and compatible with Company policies. The role involves coaching under-performing stores, partnering with District Managers, overseeing new food service projects, maintaining a database of training sessions and visits, and developing/facilitating training sessions to address market or regional needs. The goal is to create a training environment that empowers people to find answers and solutions independently to grow their food business, fostering a cooperative learning environment with feedback to guide correct actions and share best practices. The specialist will also lead training opportunities as needed and work closely with store management, sales associates, District Managers, and other internal departments related to the food service category.
