About The Position

This role provides general construction labor tasks in an efficient and safe manner as part of a patching crew. The Field Finisher & Patcher will complete general construction labor tasks necessary to finish and patch precast concrete panels, taking direction from the Patching Crew Foreperson. This position may perform miscellaneous work as directed, use materials and supplies efficiently, and handle equipment responsibly, all while following established safety procedures and policies.

Requirements

• Construction experience
• Ability to carry out simple and complex verbal instructions
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional conduct at all times
• Ability to work from heights, including but not limited to ladders and aerial work platforms
• Ability to obtain membership to a local union
• General knowledge of construction practices
• Valid driver’s license and reliable means of transportation
• Ability to travel extensively (50% of the time or more, including overnights) and work overtime as needed
• Must be able to traverse uneven ground, move minimum of 50lbs., spatial awareness/depth perception, climb on a flatbed semi-trailer.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of construction or manual labor experience
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Concrete finishing experience
