About The Position

Ahern is seeking a Field Experienced Steamfitter/Welder to support projects in the North East region of Wisconsin, including Fond du Lac, Appleton, Green Bay, and surrounding areas. This role is critical for ensuring the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of high-pressure steam systems. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience installing, fabricating, and maintaining piping systems in commercial and industrial environments, demonstrating strong safety practices and executing high-quality welds and pipe installations.

Requirements

Completion of a Steamfitter or Pipefitter Apprenticeship Program (union preferred)
Active membership in, or ability to join, the local Steamfitters Union
Strong understanding of high-pressure steam systems and blueprint reading
Minimum 5 years of experience working with industrial/commercial boiler systems
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in confined or elevated spaces
Comfortable working in high-temperature environments
Ability to perform physical labor for extended periods
