About The Position
National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking a Field Agricultural Enumerator for Maine. This role involves conducting interviews to collect data from farmers and agricultural businesses, both over the phone and through in-person farm visits. It is a home-based position with flexible hours and requires farm/field visits.
Requirements
- Have a valid driver's license and working car.
- Available for personal field interviews.
- Available for survey phone calls and drive-by observations of farms.
- Personable with good people, listening and phone skills.
- Organized, able to work independently and meet deadlines.
- Basic computer, IPAD and email skills.
- Flexible to learn new technologies.
- All training and work submission is iPad based.
- Background screening required.
Nice To Haves
- Agricultural knowledge/experience is helpful, but not essential.
Responsibilities
- Conduct interviews to collect data from farmers and agricultural businesses.
