The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is hiring a Field Enumerator to collect crop and livestock information from farm and ranch operators and agricultural industry representatives. Data is collected through phone and in-person interviews and is used to produce agricultural estimates for producers, buyers, and state and federal governments. This is a part-time, intermittent position with flexible days and hours. Training is provided, and no prior experience is needed. The role requires availability when surveys need to be conducted; it cannot be done only at night or on weekends. Most surveys are voluntary, so candidates should be comfortable with rejection and have a friendly, pleasant, positive attitude and good people skills. The position serves the Twin Falls, Jerome, or Burley area of Idaho.
