About The Position
National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking a Field Agricultural Enumerator for Maine. This role involves conducting interviews to collect data from farmers and agricultural businesses, both over the phone and by visiting farms in the field. This is a home-based job working flexible hours with farm/field visits.
Requirements
- Have a valid driver's license and working car
- Available for personal field interviews
- Available for survey phone calls
- Available for drive-by observations of farms
- Personable with good people, listening and phone skills
- Organized, able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Basic computer, IPAD and email skills
- Flexible to learn new technologies
- Must pass a background check
Nice To Haves
- Agricultural knowledge/experience is helpful, but not essential
Responsibilities
