Iowa Part-time Field Enumerator
About The Position
The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking dependable, motivated Field Enumerators to visit and speak with farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses while collecting important agricultural information. This role offers flexible part-time work that keeps you active, lets you meet people, and keeps you connected to the agricultural community. Your experience and people skills can be valuable in this role, especially if you have spent years working in agriculture, raising a family, running a business, or simply enjoy talking with people and being part of your community.
Requirements
- Friendly, dependable, and comfortable talking with people.
- Detail-oriented and able to work independently.
- Able to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.
- Comfortable using basic computer technology.
- Able to maintain confidentiality.
- Able to drive to local farms and businesses.
- Able to lift up to 40 pounds and walk up to 100 yards on uneven terrain.
- Pass a background check.
Nice To Haves
- Familiar with agriculture or interested in learning.
- Agriculture or sales experience is helpful, but not required.
