The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is seeking a detail-oriented, part-time Field Enumerator to support its organization. This role involves collecting agricultural data on behalf of the USDA's National Agricultural Statistics Service (NASS). The position requires interviewing farmers, ranchers, and agricultural businesses, and sometimes traveling to fields for crop counts. The enumerator will maintain detailed records of interviews, crop counts, mileage, expenditures, and hours worked, operating from a home residence with an operable telephone. NASDA is a nonpartisan, nonprofit association representing agricultural leaders from all fifty states and four U.S. territories. Founded in 1916, its mission is to advance American agriculture through policy, partnerships, and public engagement.
