About The Position

Raytheon’s Field Engineering is currently seeking a Field Test Engineer Lead for the Coyote program. In this role you will be responsible for a small team as well as individually supporting operation and maintenance activities of Coyote UAS weapon platform. You will communicate regularly with multiple program leads to ensure solidarity within the Testing team.

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s and a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience, or an Advance Degree in a related field and a minimum of 2 years’ experience.
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date.
U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Experience in the repair of military sensors or radar systems.
Experience in the repair of military UAS systems.
Experience in the military working with Depot Support maintenance experience on electronics or radar.
Experience with the tools and test equipment commonly used in electronic installation, maintenance, and test.
Experience with Coyote/M-LIDS documented training.

Nice To Haves

Graduate of US military UAS technical school.
Knowledge of military protocol.
COLTS Logistics Database Certification.
Must be a self-starter and the ability to align priorities appropriately and work.
Must possess excellent technical writing, oral communication, and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

Perform Coyote assembly, overhaul, repair, modification, operation, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
Assist in planning, perform data analysis, and support system integration and testing.
Receive technical guidance and tasking, as required, from supervisor or higher-level technician, and work is reviewed for compliance with accepted practices.
Front Line Management to include expense report approval, performance reviews/development, input on hiring, timecard approval, and policy compliance.
