The Field Engineer is a key member of the project operations team, providing critical support to Project Management and serving as the liaison between the Field and the Office. Under the supervision of Project Management, responsibilities include developing pre-work and post-work submittal packages, processing and validating cable test reports, drafting and processing RFIs, preparing change order requests, verifying field conditions against design documents, ensuring working sets of drawings and specifications are kept up-to-date, maintaining redline/as-built drawing sets, and appropriately filing project records. The most critical responsibility of this role is communication, ensuring the entire project team is always up-to-date.
