Field Engineer
About The Position
RK&K is looking for a self-motivated Field Engineer in their Raleigh, NC office to work on local municipal projects. This role supports civil construction projects from start to completion, focusing on highway, roadway, bridge, and related facilities. The Field Engineer II will coordinate a variety of construction projects, including consultation, investigation, evaluation, planning, and design of public or private utilities, structures, machines, equipment, processes, transportation systems, and work systems. This position involves communication with internal teams and external clients, accurate logging of activities on work sites, running point on inspections of roadways and bridges, and assisting with inspections and other on-site meetings.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or construction management/science
- 2-7 years of experience in Construction Inspection or Construction Management
- Ability to coordinate simultaneous tasks
- Proficiency in communicating technical information
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
Responsibilities
