Working across the globe, V2X builds smart solutions designed to integrate physical and digital infrastructure from base to battlefield. We bring 120 years of successful mission support to improve security, streamline logistics, and enhance readiness. Aligned around a shared purpose, our $3.9B company and 16,000 people work alongside our clients, here and abroad, to tackle their most complex challenges with integrity, respect, responsibility, and professionalism. V2X is seeking a skilled Field Engineer/Technician to join our team. Field Engineers are hands on integrators of new designs in both lab and field environments. They apply FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P), IPC-WHMA-A-620, J-STD-001, and 1-1A-14 skills to build and assemble prototype systems in accordance with engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical data. Their work ensures that prototype and early production systems are assembled correctly, function safely, and are ready for use on military and civilian platforms. Field Engineers fabricate, modify, and integrate electrical, mechanical, and electro mechanical assemblies. They perform functional checks, troubleshooting, and rework to resolve integration issues and confirm that systems meet engineering intent. Field Engineers work closely with design engineers, test engineers, production support, and customers. They provide detailed feedback on design errors, integration issues, safety concerns, and installation challenges observed in the lab and field. Their recommendations drive design changes, capture lessons learned, and improve manufacturability, installation efficiency, maintainability, and overall producibility of prototype solutions.
