About The Position

We are seeking qualified and dependable Data Center Technicians to support data center operations, infrastructure installations, troubleshooting, maintenance, and break/fix activities. Technicians will work with server and network hardware, cabling, IMAC activities, and related infrastructure while meeting customer procedures and SLA requirements. This is a 3-month project. We are looking for qualified and dependable technicians who can commit to the project duration and consistently meet customer expectations and SLA requirements.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of hands-on data center or IT infrastructure experience.
  • Strong experience with enterprise server and network hardware.
  • Hands-on experience with rack & stack, cabling, hardware installation, and break/fix support.
  • Good understanding of data center operations and infrastructure.
  • Experience troubleshooting hardware and connectivity issues.
  • Ability to read and follow technical documentation, diagrams, and SOPs.
  • Ability to work independently in a data center environment.
  • Strong communication, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
  • Reliable transportation and availability to work scheduled shifts.
  • Ability to provide required tools and PPE.
  • Ability to meet customer/site access and security requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Data center, networking, server, or relevant IT certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Perform installation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and break/fix support for data center equipment.
  • Rack, stack, install, move, and decommission servers and network equipment.
  • Perform hardware diagnostics and replace components such as hard drives, memory, power supplies, fans, and other field-replaceable units.
  • Install, troubleshoot, label, trace, and manage copper and fiber network cabling.
  • Assist with the installation and basic troubleshooting of network equipment.
  • Execute IMAC (Install, Move, Add, Change) activities according to established procedures.
  • Follow customer SOPs, security requirements, safety procedures, and work instructions.
  • Accurately document work performed, equipment/serial numbers, test results, and site changes.
  • Coordinate with remote NOC/engineering teams and escalate issues when required.
  • Maintain professional communication with customers, site personnel, and project teams.
  • Complete assigned work orders within required SLA and project timelines.
