About The Position

MMR is seeking Field Engineer candidates to support field installation activities by conducting walkdowns, verifying layouts, resolving constructability issues, assisting with inspections, maintaining as-built documentation, and providing accurate progress and quantity tracking to field supervision. The responsibilities would include, but not be limited to, relaying RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications to frontline supervisors; performing layout verification and field walkdowns inclusive of site surveying; identifying and resolving constructability issues and design interpretation; supporting quality inspections and testing by providing a list of completed tag items for quality inspections; maintaining as-built documentation; reviewing daily installation progress and quantity reports generated by foremen; coordinating directly with foremen and supervisors; performing installation audits and tracking updates for accurate client reporting; working with Construction Managements and Superintendents to provide constraints reports impacting productivity; and performing other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management.

Requirements

  • BS in Construction Management or related field
  • Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferred
  • Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
  • Must have basic knowledge in estimating and controls
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance at work

Responsibilities
