Responsibilities

  • Enforce safety regulations on-site, ensuring compliance with safety protocols to minimize accidents and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Provide technical expertise on-site, ensuring that construction activities align with engineering designs and specifications.
  • Assist in the management of technical resources and equipment, ensuring optimal usage and availability for construction tasks.
  • Address and resolve technical issues that arise during the construction process, working closely with contractors to maintain project timelines.
  • Conduct on-site inspections to ensure that all activities comply with engineering standards, safety regulations, and project specifications.
  • Collaborate with project managers, contractors, and other team members to ensure seamless communication and efficient workflow.
  • Document technical progress and provide updates to the Project Manager, ensuring any potential issues are identified early.
  • Develop own capabilities by participating in assessment and development planning activities as well as formal and informal training and coaching; gain or maintain external professional accreditation where relevant to improve performance and fulfill personal potential.
  • Maintain an understanding of relevant technology, external regulation, and industry best practices through ongoing education, attending conferences, and reading specialist media.
  • Effectively communicate to the Business Unit relevant field updates and developments that impact business development as well as provide advice and guidance to correctly adhere to the new regulations.
