We are adding Construction Field Engineers to build the Bull Run Filtration Facility to supply filtered drinking water to Portland and nearby areas. The facility, designed to treat up to 135 million gallons of water per day from the Bull Run River. The scope of the work includes removing sediment and contaminants, site preparation, excavation, procurement, and the installation of essential components like inlet structures, an ozone contact basin, and more. This is a $1.24B project with an estimated completion date of 3/2028. Kiewit’s Northern California District is one of Kiewit’s leading infrastructure districts specializing in various types of work in the heavy civil, power, transportation, and water resource markets. Although most of our work is regionally based in Northern California, we also pursue various projects across the west coast.
