About The Position

ENTACT is a premier national provider of environmental, civil, and geotechnical construction services. We directly self-perform environmental remediation and geotechnical construction work, using in-house personnel and equipment resources. ENTACT is actively seeking a Field Engineer in the environmental remediation and geotechnical construction industry. Candidates must be open to sustained project-based travel within the US, at least 80% of the time. Project locations will vary depending on the assignment. Candidates can reside anywhere within the US. ENTACT offers per diem/living allowance and paid monthly trips home. The salary range of this position $70,500-$85,000/yr commensurate with experience.

Position Summary: The position of Field Engineer will work closely with all members of the management and health and safety team. This position includes quality control, surveying, KPI tracking, and other responsibilities related to the proper and timely execution of ENTACT projects. Must be self-motivated to meet deadlines, communicate effectively in a teamwork setting and be able to adapt role/responsibilities in a fast-paced ever-changing environment. Associates must be open to periods of sustained project-based travel. Must have a valid driver’slicense with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements.

Work Environment:
The Field Engineer performs the essential job functions primarily in a construction/field setting and occasionally works in a typical office environment.

Requirements

• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word and Teams.

• Design, planning and communication skills that promote safe work and safe work products.
• Oral and written communication skills.

• Highly motivated, with the ability to take the initiative.
• Strong organization, time management and attention to detail.
• Strong work ethic.
• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field.
• Must have a valid driver’s license with no driving restrictions which interfere with job requirements.

Nice To Haves

• HAZWOPER 40 hr. training is highly preferred but not required.
• Experience with Trimble Business Center or AutoCAD Civil 3D is preferred but not required.
