About The Position

North American Pipeline Management Company is seeking an experienced Field Engineer to provide oversight and project support for production, safety, quality, and project management standards. This role is responsible for pre-bid site surveys, contract execution/project start-up, and closeout. The Field Engineer will work with field crews and subcontractors to track and manage project costs, meet expected production rates and gross profit margins, attend meetings with customers, and prepare/submit/track Submittals and RFIs. Additionally, the role involves assisting with scheduling jobs, preparing scopes of work, assisting with awarding subcontracts, and handling material procurement.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Construction Management and 2+ years of related field construction management experience OR 5+ years of field construction experience managing an annual $1MM portfolio of projects.
Demonstrated success managing multiple projects simultaneously.
Solid understanding of Microsoft Word & Microsoft Excel
Must be able to travel as needed (approximately 25%)

Nice To Haves

Solid understanding in Accounting/Finance strongly preferred
Previous experience in water/sewer or municipal environment is a plus
Primavera and JD Edwards software experience a plus
Strong focus on customer satisfaction required

Responsibilities
