About The Position

The Field Engineer is responsible for providing technical and engineering support to ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of cementing operations. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and customers, performing field inspections, analyzing job requirements, and delivering technical solutions to meet customer and operational needs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required). Chemical, Mechanical, Civil & Petroleum Engineering are preferred
  • 4+ years of relevant experience in the oilfield services or energy industry (cementing experience preferred).
  • Field experience in cementing operations, including job design and execution.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in mathematics and computer software (e.g., Microsoft Office, modeling tools).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective leadership, mentoring, and collaboration abilities.
  • Ensure technical accuracy and consistency in job planning and execution.
  • Provide timely engineering support to operations teams and customers.
  • Maintain compliance with safety, operational, and quality standards.
  • Participate in engineering reviews and continuous improvement efforts.
  • Support product development, testing, and application training efforts.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future employment sponsorship.

  • Laboratory and/or sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee customer needs, engineering activities, and quality control processes.
  • Prepare written job recommendations and computer models to support field operations.
  • Work closely with customer engineering teams to analyze well conditions and job specifications.
  • Coordinate with lab technicians, logistics, and operations personnel to ensure equipment and materials are prepared for jobs.
  • Develop and evaluate lab tests to confirm that appropriate products and systems are used for each job.
  • Conduct on-site quality and safety inspections during job execution.
  • Deliver technical training to district equipment operators and service supervisors.
  • Support the onboarding and technical development of new Field Engineers.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support operational and organizational goals.
