The Field Engineer will be responsible for ensuring safety and promoting company core values. This role involves participating in the RFP process, providing support to Project Managers, and evaluating/improving processes to meet customer expectations. The Field Engineer will also manage, mentor, and develop colleagues, interact with customers, and provide oversight for subcontractors. Key responsibilities include leading field validation of telecom design, managing project reviews with an emphasis on constructability and value engineering, and implementing electronic tracking systems for real-time visibility. The role also entails daily/weekly reporting, issue escalation, coordination with project managers and general contractors, proactive communication of challenges, and assessing installation methods. Additionally, the Field Engineer will support QA/QC, ensure team members meet deadlines, review contracts, cultivate customer relationships, ensure material availability, coordinate customer acceptance, manage the change management process, review test results, maintain redlines, and lead the preparation of closeout documentation.
