About The Position

JDS Energy & Mining is seeking an experienced Field Engineer (Civil or Mining) to join our team on a major mining project in Arnea, Greece. This is a site-based FIFO position supporting the delivery of mine infrastructure, earthworks, and surface construction activities in a dynamic and fast-paced project environment. This is a field engineering role with a specialization in earthworks, soil management, and surface infrastructure. The successful candidate will provide technical leadership and field support for the planning and execution of large-scale earthworks, road construction, pads, dams, drainage systems, and related civil infrastructure works required to support mine development and operations. Working closely with engineering, survey, and construction teams, the Field Engineer will interpret and update civil and structural drawings using CAD software based on field conditions, redline markups, and design changes. The role will also support site verification activities, generate as-built drawings and technical documentation, and ensure the safe, efficient, and high-quality execution of bulk earthworks, road construction, pads, dams, and related civil scopes on complex mining and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver successful outcomes under challenging site conditions and demanding project schedules while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and environmental stewardship. Requirements

• Experienced Field Engineer (Civil or Mining)
• Specialization in earthworks, soil management, and surface infrastructure
• Proficiency in CAD software for interpreting and updating drawings
• Ability to work closely with engineering, survey, and construction teams
• Experience in supporting mine development and operations
• Experience with large-scale earthworks, road construction, pads, dams, and drainage systems
• Ability to support site verification activities
• Ability to generate as-built drawings and technical documentation
• Commitment to safety, quality, and environmental stewardship
