About The Position

Ferrovial, a global leader in infrastructure, is seeking a dynamic Field Engineer to join Webber, a leading construction company specializing in heavy civil, waterworks, energy, and infrastructure management. Webber, a subsidiary of Ferrovial Construction, was founded in 1963 and is headquartered in Houston, Texas, with projects across the United States and Canada. The company supports various project models including design bid build, design build, alternative delivery, and P3 solutions, and utilizes an in-house engineering services department for optimized building efficiency and quality. As a Field Engineer, you will serve as the crucial liaison between the construction site and the office, providing essential support to the Project Engineer and Project Superintendent. Your primary goals will involve production tracking, operational planning, communication, organization, implementation, and tracking of project data. This role is highly field-intensive, requiring you to be on-site 75%-90% of the time, which offers significant opportunities for learning and professional growth in construction management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or something similar
  • Moderate to high level of proficiency operating MS Excel, MS Outlook, MS Word, and MS PowerPoint

Responsibilities

  • Collaborating with all project staff to ensure that work plans are tracked and analyzed to maximize efficiency in the field operations.
  • Developing, maintaining, and reporting the daily quantities installed and performed.
  • Analyzing and comparing budgeted vs actual production rates and yield in materials.
  • Assisting in ensuring that field work is being constructed within project standards and specifications.
