About The Position

MMR is seeking Field Engineer candidates to support field installation activities by conducting walkdowns, verifying layouts, resolving constructability issues, assisting with inspections, maintaining as-built documentation, and providing accurate progress and quantity tracking to field supervision.

Requirements

BS in Construction Management or related field
Experience in electrical and instrumentation construction preferred
Ability to read and understand electrical drawing packages and specifications
Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
Must have basic knowledge in estimating and controls
Working knowledge of MS Office software
Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
Regular and reliable attendance at work

Responsibilities

Relay RFIs, submittals, and design clarifications to frontline supervisors.
Perform layout verification and field walkdowns inclusive of site surveying.
Identify and resolve constructability issues and design interpretation.
Support quality inspections and testing by providing list of completed tag items for quality inspections.
Maintain as-built documentation.
Review daily installation progress and quantity reports generated by foreman.
Coordinate directly with foremen and supervisors.
Perform installation audits and tracking updates for accurate client reporting.
Work with Construction Managements and Superintendents to provide constraints reports impacting productivity.
Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management
