About The Position

The Outreach Team is hiring Field Directors to join them on an important and exciting voter registration campaign in partnership with Forward Majority. This campaign is centered on empowering citizens to make their voices heard and creating meaningful change in our democracy. Voter registration is a crucial first step to building political power in our communities. Systemic barriers have prevented many Americans from participating fully in our democracy, and voter registration is one of the most powerful tools to expand civic participation. This campaign aims to register new voters who align with progressive values such as abortion rights, taxing the wealthy, climate action, and immigration reform. Field Directors will recruit, train, and manage a team of local canvassers who will engage voters and register them to vote. The Field Director is expected to go into the field themselves multiple days per week to canvass, train staff, and lead by example. They must also communicate long and short-term goals to staff and manage campaign reporting. The Field Director manages canvassers and Team Leads and reports to the Lead Director.
