We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Field Directors to support project execution across all phases of archaeological investigations primarily in the Southeastern US with occasional assignment to the Mid Atlantic. This is a full time, salaried (non-exempt), professional position with full benefits package (paid holidays; health, dental, and life insurance starting on date of hire; vacation and sick leave accrue after 90-days of full employment; and a 401(K) plan after one year [365 days] of full employment). Starting pay ranges from $24 to $27 per hour depending on experience. Per diem for worked days in the field is paid on a monthly basis at a rate of $45 per worked day for out-of-town projects. Opportunity for advancement to significant management responsibilities is available for the right candidate. Candidate must be able to travel to project sites to direct and conduct Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III investigations. Residence within commuting distance of the New Orleans office will be preferred for this position. This position involves collaborating closely with senior management, project personnel, and clients to ensure fieldwork is completed on time and within budget while adhering to applicable state and federal guidelines. The ideal candidate will have experience in cultural resource management, strong organizational and communication skills, and a willingness to grow into a leadership role within the company.
