Requirements

  • 3+ years in a manufacturing setting or Equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to work with basic to advanced mathematical concepts
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
  • Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
  • Excellent MS Office Suite skill, specifically in Excel and Outlook
  • Lotus Notes
  • Highly proficient in SAP

Nice To Haves

  • A BA in engineering or related field highly preferred

Responsibilities

  • Receive claims from CMT, generate and release SAP claim orders to operations, follow up with production team to complete the orders being processed efficiently
  • Work with QA and engineering team to define CMT claim causes
  • Generate CMT claim to sister plants for “POH” Escalators, moving walks and defective components, follow up the CMT claims status and communicate it to internal and external customers timely
  • Collect and summarize claim information, provide it to QA and other functions to complete further analysis and track root cause of claims
  • Communicate quality issues / corrective actions to the field, monthly.
  • Works cross-functionally to assist in reduction of product and process cost through shared input from customer and field technicians
  • Ensures all necessary transactions are completed timely and accurately according to process
  • Constructively participates in Team meetings
  • Attends and participates in all required safety and job-specific training
  • Adheres to all safety rules, provides improvement suggestions, and reports or corrects safety issues immediately.
