This position is an entry-level role designed for individuals seeking to develop essential skills in the construction of electrical substations, transmission lines, and renewable energy systems. The role involves learning daily reporting, quality assurance/quality control, environmental compliance, and safety compliance. The Field Construction Manager Assistant (FCMA) may be required to step in for the Field Construction Manager (FCM) when necessary. Strong computer and organizational skills are crucial. Upon demonstrating mastery of FCMA duties, there is an expectation of progression to the Field Construction Manager (FCM) position. The FCMA plays a vital support role, assisting the FCM in managing complex projects. Responsibilities include administrative support, secondary supervision of subcontractors, material receiving and inventory, safety and quality control support, daily on-site reporting, and environmental compliance inspections. This role is not location-specific and requires nationwide project support.
