About The Position

As a Field Connection Specialist III, you’ll be the face of our company, installing and maintaining high-speed internet and digital phone services for homes across our Duluth, MN and Superior, WI. This role offers training, certification, and clear advancement paths that let you grow at your own pace.

Requirements

  • Minimum Requirements: Level II - At least 3 years of field installation experience in telecommunications or utility industry.
  • Minimum Requirements: Level III - At least 5 years of progressive field installation/service experience, with clear progression in roles, responsibilities, and technical expertise.
  • For Both Levels: High school diploma or GED.
  • For Both Levels: Valid state-issued driver’s license with a driving record that allows employee to be insured by ImOn’s insurance carrier.
  • Ability to meet company training and safety certification standards
  • Proficient use of network support tools and platforms (examples: CMS, SMX, TruVizion, AOE)

Responsibilities

  • Install, connect, and configure internet and digital phone services for residential customers
  • Test and adjust equipment to ensure strong, reliable signal quality
  • Troubleshoot and repair service issues both indoors and outdoors
  • Educate customers on how to get the most from their services and recommend upgrades when beneficial
  • Operate safely and efficiently using company-provided tools and vehicles
  • Collaborate with your teammates to deliver exceptional service experiences
  • Serve as a mentor to Field Connection Specialist I and Field Connection Specialist II
