About The Position

This position involves in-field training with SAH employees in client homes to ensure tasks are performed correctly and comply with RI DOH standards. The Field CNA (FCNA) will report to the RN Clinical Manager for any additional skills training needed by CNAs. The FCNA can also evaluate employees in the absence of the RN Clinical Manager. The FCNA will review clients' ADLs and care notes with employees, and speak with new clients about the various duties SAH CNAs can perform within their license. Additionally, the FCNA will review and educate staff on the safest and most efficient ways to perform tasks, while continuing to work full-time as a CNA for SAH. The role also includes attending Job Fairs and client/employee recruitment obligations.

Requirements

• Must have at least 35 hours of regular CNA shifts.
• Must be able to perform occasional on-call services.
• Must be able to work approximately 5 – 10 additional hours weekly for FCNA duties.
• Must be able to work some weekend hours.
• Must be able to work an occasional overnight shift.
• Must not have daytime, nighttime, or weekend restrictions.
• Must be able to work over 40 hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-field training to employees in client homes.

Benefits

• PTO will be accrued at 1 hour per 35 hours worked not to exceed more than 40 hours in 1 calendar year.
