About The Position

Sprinto is seeking its first dedicated Field CISO in the US to build the market-facing security and compliance voice from scratch. This is a marketing and thought leadership role focused on establishing Sprinto's Autonomous Trust thesis as a category leader. The Field CISO will be responsible for making Sprinto's channels more credible, influential, and attended by leveraging practitioner experience. The role involves taking the thesis to market through events, content, and conversations, representing Sprinto as a practitioner voice at industry stages, building communities for CISOs, shaping published content, deepening relationships with the advisory board, and engaging in sales conversations to help prospects envision their compliance programs. This role requires a strategic thinker who can simplify complex ideas, bring original thinking on the future of the CISO's office, and operate independently while leveraging the support of the GTM team and founders. The position can be structured as a full-time role or an advisory/consulting engagement.

Requirements

  • 10+ years in security leadership, holding a CISO, Deputy CISO, or senior advisory role.
  • Savvy with Compliance implementations for frameworks like SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST CSF, HIPAA, and FedRAMP.
  • Track record of engaging enterprise CISOs as a peer, not as a vendor representative.
  • Comfort with commercial accountability; having owned numbers before or being ready to.
  • Ability to simplify complex theses and ideas into simpler and readable chunks.
  • Original thinking on where the CISO's office is headed.
  • Ability to operate independently across multiple channels.
  • Willingness to leverage the rest of the team for enablement and support.
