About The Position

The Field Calibration Technician is responsible for providing on-site calibration, maintenance, and technical support to ensure customer equipment meets the highest standards of accuracy and compliance. This is a hands-on, customer-facing role ideal for someone who enjoys working independently while delivering exceptional service.

Requirements

Minimum 1 year of experience in field service, calibration, or technical support (lab or life sciences preferred)
Proficiency with calibration software, diagnostic tools, and digital systems
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently, manage schedules, and prioritize tasks
Willingness to travel locally with occasional travel outside the region
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Valid driver’s license required

Nice To Haves

Experience with pipette calibration is a plus
Knowledge of quality systems and regulatory requirements in life sciences is preferred

Responsibilities

Perform on-site calibration, maintenance, and minor repairs on handheld pipettes and laboratory instruments
Provide customer training and support to ensure proper use and care of equipment
Accurately document calibration data, service activities, and maintenance records in compliance with company and regulatory standards
Manage and coordinate daily service appointments and travel within assigned territory
Operate a company-provided service vehicle to deliver efficient on-site service
Collaborate with internal teams to improve processes and enhance customer experience
Maintain current knowledge of products, calibration methods, and industry standards
