About The Position

This field-based, territory-specific opportunity supports Williston, ND or Minot, ND and surrounding areas. We are seeking an Auto Field Appraiser with strong time management and negotiation skills, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to a positive, customer-focused experience. The role involves creating or auditing comprehensive estimates of damages for 1st and 3rd party material damage claims in auto or specialty lines, leading to proper disposition. It also includes training, mentoring, quality control, and technical assistance on material damage claims.

Responsibilities

• Create or audit estimates of damages on 1st and 3rd party material damage losses of all severities.
• Possess a deep understanding of the content of all policy types written by the company.
• Negotiate settlements, make settlement payments, and document all activities in complex files across multiple lines.
• Evaluate settlement alternatives by reviewing regulatory compliance and fair claims practices.
• Build mastered relationships with both internal and external customers across multiple lines.
