About The Position

As a Field Applications & Integration Specialist (FAIS) for the Bioprocess Business Unit, you will help customers adopt and use Eppendorf’s complete hardware, software and service offerings through applications support, process development, troubleshooting, optimization and integration. Travel up to approximately 60% across your regional territory to provide comprehensive pre‑ and post‑sales support. This includes training, product demonstrations, advanced troubleshooting, and application consulting, while gathering feedback that directly influences future product development. Support sales and service teams through both in‑person and virtual customer visits, providing advanced technical application and integration expertise. Deliver applications training to colleagues in alignment with global Bioprocess initiatives, positioning yourself as the regional expert for applications support and software integration. Champion new and updated products by developing specialized training modules that strengthen virtual selling and training. Work closely with global Bioprocess Product Support and portfolio development teams to relay customer feedback and pain points, target new markets and applications, and support key trade shows and collaboration events that build the Eppendorf bioprocess brand.

Requirements

  • A B.S. in life sciences
  • At least 5 years of relevant industry experience
  • Strong applications and process know‑how in bioprocessing, with experience in process development, optimization and troubleshooting in lab or production environments.
  • Solid software and integration skills, ideally including exposure to SCADA systems, OPC connectivity and scripting or programming (e.g. Visual Basic, Python, Blockly).
  • Excellent communication skills with a customer-centric mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • An advanced degree plus a computer‑science background focused on SCADA control systems is preferred.
