About The Position

Requirements

  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in RF/Microwave electronics application area.
  • Ability to review block diagram, schematic, layout, and test results to trouble shoot issues.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with test and measurement products such as spectrum and network analyzers, signal generators, VNAs, digital oscilloscopes and spectrum analyzers is desired.

Responsibilities

  • Travel to customer sites to support installation, commissioning, and optimization of Energous Wireless Power Network (WPN) systems.
  • Perform on-site troubleshooting of transmitters, receivers, gateways, tags, and associated networking infrastructure.
  • Diagnose RF coverage, communication, power delivery, and system performance issues.
  • Verify system functionality through validation testing and acceptance procedures.
  • Provide post-installation technical support and customer training.
  • Generate installation reports, corrective action plans, and technical recommendations.
  • Design Wireless Power Network layouts based on customer facilities and operational requirements.
  • Develop bridge placement recommendations to maximize wireless power coverage and communication reliability.
  • Produce deployment packages including: WPN layouts, Bridge placement maps, Coverage recommendations, Infrastructure requirements, Installation documentation.
  • Optimize network performance while considering environmental constraints such as metal structures, ceiling height, interference, and operational workflows.
  • Guide customers on best practices for deploying Energous products across various applications.
  • Recommend optimal product configurations based on customer use cases.
  • Support proof-of-concept installations and pilot deployments.
  • Validate customer applications and recommend improvements before production deployment.
  • Provide feedback to Engineering regarding field performance and product enhancements.
