About The Position

This role involves supporting pre-sales and post-sales technical activities for Data Center Solutions. The Field Application Engineer will assist in understanding customer requirements and translating them into technical specifications, support system design, solution selection, and application feasibility studies. The position requires participation in customer meetings, site visits, and technical presentations, as well as assisting with product demonstrations, trainings, and workshops. Additionally, the role involves supporting troubleshooting activities, performing root-cause analysis for technical issues, and acting as a technical interface between customers, sales, R&D, and product management.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or engineering related field.
• Fundamental technical understanding of engineering & electronics systems (e.g. AC/DC converters, UPS, cooling solutions) and products.
• Basic understanding of technical documentation, schematics, or system diagrams.
• Ability to first response, on-site fault isolation, coordinate failure analysis with factory, implement and verify corrective actions.
• Ability to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving skills and presentation skills.
• Willingness to travel within the EMEA region.
• Ability to work in international, cross-functional teams.
• Experience in a technical or engineering environment/project.
• Basic knowledge of safety, quality, or compliance concepts.
