Job Duties: Primarily works with the Field Application Engineering (FAE) team to provide technical support for the development and implementation of complex products/applications/solutions. This is an opportunity to deepen product, application, and market knowledge in the Cloud and AI networking infrastructure. Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and help review product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products/applications/solutions. Requirements

  • The individual selected for this role must have strong interpersonal skills and a committed drive to win.
  • They must be motivated and should enjoy working in an open, rapidly changing, communicative and team-oriented environment with a hands-on, “can-do” attitude, a commitment to excellence.
  • Pursuing a degree in the physical sciences, electrical engineering or equivalent
  • Practical working knowledge of transceiver hardware, or network switching and connectivity including both specification and test of firmware/hardware interfaces.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • It will be helpful to have familiarity with: Device firmware structure & functionality Standards documents like CMIS, Ethernet, InfiniBand, Industry MSAs Python

Responsibilities

  • Support FAE team with application lab expansion and network testing.
  • Work closely with FAE and sales team to review customer requirements and application use cases.
  • Work with firmware development team to help identify bugs.
  • Participation in Failure Analysis, Corrective Action & Lessons Learned activities
