The Field/Road Technician troubleshoots, repairs, and maintains all equipment at locations throughout New England, focusing on Electrical and Hydraulic systems. This role requires the ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. The technician will also gain basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, and measuring devices. The position involves completing on-the-job and classroom training in the mechanical and hydraulic components of the product line and associated repair/service procedures to become a successful Road Technician. Responsibilities include diagnosing issues with hydraulic, mechanical, and electrical systems, restoring equipment to working order through component replacement and/or repair, and utilizing operator and parts & maintenance manuals.
