About The Position

This role is in support of Cencora’s patient and provider support and pharma commercialization services in Canada marketed through our Innomar Strategies business. This role is a Full Time contract/temporary position to replace a maternity leave until 25/September/2027.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in nursing, clinical practice, health sciences, public health, healthcare administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience required.
  • 4+ years of experience in in nursing, clinical services, care coordination, patient support, clinical documentation, or a related field required.
  • Professional license or registration in nursing in the applicable jurisdiction of practice required.

Nice To Haves

  • Certification in clinical services, care coordination, patient safety, or equivalent preferred.
  • Certification in case management, clinical documentation improvement, healthcare quality, or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Administer medications (IM, SC and IV as applicable) in home care or specialty clinic settings
  • Support/monitor administration of IV infusion treatments in the clinic and/or homecare setting
  • Monitor post-injection/infusion treatments as well as chart and report on all activities as directed by program protocols and standards of professional nursing documentation
  • Provide patient education based on program protocols, individually or in groups
  • Report adverse events, serious adverse events, product complaints in accordance with Innomar training and policies & procedures
  • Provides reliable availability based on the agreed upon employment agreement to meet the needs of the IBU and the Nursing and clinics Key Performance Indicators.
  • Coordinate daily with patients, case managers, physicians, scheduling and other departments to meet established timelines for scheduling appointments, treatments, and communication of information
  • Perform administrative duties such as monthly clinic audits, supply ordering and other duties as assigned
  • Participate regularly in team web-based meetings/training sessions with the Business Area Manager, RNE and Nurse Champion to maintain and enhance professional practice standards.
  • Participates in specialized client related trainings as required.
  • Consult with physicians, pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients regarding education and implementation of product specific programs
  • Required to travel within you’re designated IBU and surrounding IBUs to meet the operational need (ie. Innomar Prince Albert or Innomar North Battleford)
  • Required to follow all nursing and clinic standard operating procedures and Work Instructions.
  • Required to follow all Health and Safety standards as per the provincial Health and safety Act.
  • Required to complete ongoing and annual education training as per the training matrix within the specified timeframes.
  • Adhere to professional nursing standards as prescribed by the professional associations, regulatory bodies and the company policies and procedures
  • Perform related duties and tasks as required by Innomar
  • May be required to be on standby/on call to meet the service needs.
  • Required to provide availability for all the operational shifts (Days, Evenings, and Saturdays)
