Fiberglass Pool Laminator
About The Position
Performing all tasks assigned in the manufacture of fiberglass swimming pools while maintaining a clean work area and adhering to all safety and quality standards. The duties and responsibilities of this position varies by the station the employee is put on. They range from spraying gel coats and resins to rolling fiberglass and hand laying fiberglass mat and composite reinforcements as well as using razor knives and other sharp instruments to cut materials and other duties as assigned. Climbing and working at heights of up to 10 ft. required. May be operating machinery including forklifts. Personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses with side shields, hearing protection, full face respirator, gloves, safety shoes, harness and/or protective outerwear are required. Exposure to dust, odors/fumes, heat (dependent upon weather conditions) and noise is typical.
Requirements
- Ability to work in a safe manner utilizing PPE as required
- Ability to stand for prolonged times
- Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, overhead work
- Lifting up to forty (40) pounds
- Must be able to work mandatory overtime, including some weekends

- Fiberglass/composite manufacturing experience
- Experience in construction
- Experience in tile installation
