About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented Fiberglass Body Repair Technician to join our production team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring our product quality by inspecting, repairing, and finishing fiberglass bodies. Requirements

Minimum of 1 years of hands-on experience in fiberglass body repair, gel-coat finishing, or a related trade.
Proven expertise in identifying surface defects and utilizing correct compounds and tools to restore finishes.
Experience using pneumatic and electric power tools (grinders, sanders, buffers).
Strong attention to detail, strong work ethic, reliable attendance, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment.

Responsibilities

Perform structural and cosmetic fiberglass repairs on body components using proper tools and techniques.
Inspect gel-coat surfaces to identify imperfections; perform sanding, buffing, and polishing using wax, compounds, fillers, or putty to achieve a seamless finish.
Safely operate hand and power tools, including orbital sanders, die grinders, drills, gel-coat spray equipment, and high-speed buffers.
Conduct thorough parts inspections and apply a solid understanding of the fiberglass finishing process to meet quality standards.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area.
