About The Position

The Fiber Tower Operator 1 is responsible for setting up and operating manufacturing machines to assemble and process products, covering the full machine lifecycle from setup through long production runs. The role works under direct supervision and ensures products are manufactured safely, accurately, and in compliance with quality and regulatory standards.

Requirements

1+ year of experience operating complex manufacturing equipment such as CNC machines, screw machines, or similar automated production machinery.
Machine setup and operation skills.
Quality monitoring skills.
Precision machining skills.
Digital recordkeeping skills.
Adherence to Environment, Health, and Safety standards.
High School Diploma or Vocational Training, or an equivalent level of education.
Reliable, detail-oriented team player comfortable working shift-based schedules, including extended and rotating shifts, with a strong commitment to safety and quality.
Ability to successfully perform minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation.

Responsibilities

Set up, operate, and monitor manufacturing machines, tools, and equipment, performing standard and complex production tasks in line with Standard Operating Procedures and Good Manufacturing Practices.
Monitor equipment performance and product output, conduct testing, record production data, and ensure quality specifications and tolerances are consistently met.
Maintain accurate production and maintenance records, ensuring proper documentation and traceability for manufacturing performance analysis.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment, following all safety, environmental, and security practices, including lockout and shutdown procedures.
