About The Position
Benton Triage is a leader in aerial and underground FTTH/FTTP construction with over 20 years of experience. We partner with major MSOs on projects nationwide. We are hiring experienced Fiber Drop Technicians for residential fiber installation projects. This is a travel-based field role requiring prior telecom experience.
Requirements
- Prior telecom experience required (fiber installation, drop work, or I&R experience)
- Must have experience with burial drops
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license (2+ years)
- Comfortable with physically demanding outdoor field work in all conditions
- Willing to travel extensively and work overtime/weekends
- Must pass drug and alcohol screening
- Authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
- Install buried fiber drops from network access points (pedestals, handholes, or terminals) to residential homes
- Complete residential I&R, including ONT installation, router setup, and service activation
- Test and troubleshoot fiber connections to ensure service quality
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Travel to projects across the U.S.
- Perform hands-on field installation work
